I recently received amazing service at Santa Cruz Subaru. Thomas Foster is an outstanding service advisor who went above and beyond! I came in while visiting the area from out of state, with no appointment and in need of help after a small fender bender. Meanwhile we found some other significant issues. Thomas was able to get my car fixed in a timely manner, advocated on my behalf with SoA and helped me get all issues fixed so that I could drive home with peace of mind. I highly recommend the service department at Santa Cruz!

We had our 2013 Outback towed in after it died as my wife and daughter were heading back home to Oregon. We initially had it towed to another shop which could not solve the problem, then on to Subaru. They immediately explored it, identified one very expensive catalytic problem, facilitating our finding an offsite location to repair it ourselves. The initial finding of the disintegrating catalytic converter was valid, but the car still would not run. They, then took it back in promptly, and spent several more hours on it, identifying that one of the new parts that I had installed was bad, cleaned the old part that I had removed, making the car run fantastic, and charged only a nominal fee. We could not have asked for better service. Thank you!!

Amazing experience buying our first Subaru!!! We stopped by Subaru Santa Cruz while shopping for a new car. We originally thought we’d buy a hybrid CR-V, but wanted to explore various makes and models—with Subaru being just one of them. From the first moment our rep Shania H H vowed us and made the entire experience a pleasure. Shania was genuinely friendly, very knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to answer all of our questions and helping us find the Subaru that best fit our needs. The beautiful coastal test drive was the perfect way to experience the car and made the visit even more memorable. Then Sandra B helped to complete the paperwork and seal the deal. The primary reason for my 10/10 rating is Robert Deleon’s outstanding customer service, dedication, and genuine commitment to taking care of his customers. My family was facing a very difficult situation. Our Subaru was our only means of transportation for work, medical appointments, and getting my son to school. When our vehicle experienced a major engine issue, Robert went above and beyond to help us pursue a warranty claim for a part that failed under circumstances that should have been covered, despite being outside the standard warranty timeframe. At the time, Subaru of America was unwilling to provide assistance, which left me frustrated and discouraged. I had reached the point where I planned to drive the vehicle until it completely failed and never purchase another Subaru again. Not only would this have affected me, but it also would have impacted my family, many of whom are Subaru owners. Losing our vehicle would have created significant hardship for my family while still leaving us responsible for an outstanding auto loan. Because of Robert’s persistence, advocacy, and willingness to fight for his customer, my family was able to keep moving forward. He helped save our vehicle and spared us from a tremendous amount of financial and personal stress. More importantly, he restored my trust in Subaru as a company that stands behind its customers and values their safety and well-being. Quick check in. Friendly service people. Coffee in the lobby, and little snacks. Tv if you have to wait. Even have a fenced picnic area outside, if you have a dog or little kids.

"I drove a long way because this dealership offers a great $69.95 oil change deal, and it was completely worth it! The staff were incredibly friendly and walked me over to the lounge, where I enjoyed some coffee and snacks. To top it off, they even included a free complimentary car wash. I purchased a 2026 Crosstrek Limited yesterday at Suburu Santa Cruz. I love it! It was a great experience working with Mark (General Sales Manager) and Jeff (Award winning Sales Representative). They were beyond accommodating in every way. Fun, friendly, professional, with lots of experience! Both were very helpful with my specific needs, questions, etc. Even Jeremy in financing made the process fun...and efficient! Overall a great experience. I live in Pacific Grove, and would highly recommend Santa Cruz Suburu! It's worth the drive! 🙂

This is not my first Subaru, and it’s definitely not my first vehicle from this dealership. Time and time again, they have made me feel like family, and this experience was no exception. I’m now driving a 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid and absolutely love it. It drives beautifully, feels incredibly safe, and the fuel efficiency has exceeded my expectations. What really sets this dealership apart is the people. Everyone remembers not only my name, but my kids' names as well, which speaks volumes about the level of care and customer service they provide. The entire process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. Jeff and Carla in sales were wonderful to work with, and Jeremy and Sandra in finance were kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I’m grateful for another great experience and highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a vehicle and a dealership that genuinely cares about its customers.

Then I went back and got a second key fob made and they helped me right away I got a free windshield wiper also. Very kind!!! Loved the service and wished I bought my subaru there

First timing getting my car serviced at this location and I loved it. Dustin was friendly, informative and very attentive. And the location won me over with the mini dog area. I know next time my dog will be able to join me and we can get shuttled to the nearby beach. Subaru SC can expect to see me again!

Sonny was very personable and took ownership and interest for my vehicle servicing (even though I have a Mazda) He represents Subarus quality customer interactions very well. I recommend others to consider Subaru of Santa Cruz for their next service.

I took my Subaru in for TSB 09-119-24 Thermo Control Valve, which was fortunately under an extended warranty. I was prepared to have to advocate for it to be covered up front, but from the moment I pulled up, they reassured me it would all be taken care of for free. They even added a touchscreen update & free car wash. Excellent service from the very first point of contact when I called to make an appointment, to when I pulled away with everything taken care of and peace of mind.

They brought Fernando the Shop Foreman over with radiator coolant and checked my car then refilled what I had lost. They offered the kindest and most helpful assistance. They also left me feeling reassured and safe. I highly recommend this place for anyone. If they put out this much care to a stranger in need I can only imagine the quality service they offer. Never have I ever had a pleasurable and easy experience getting any kind of service from Subaru before. Santa Cruz Subaru is incredibly thorough and they make it really really easy for you. I highly recommend them.

I cannot speak highly enough of Robert Deleon at Santa Cruz Subaru's Service Department. He has helped my daughter (who is a college student far from home) with her Subaru multiple times, always going above and beyond to make sure she understood what was needed, why, and how to best care for the car. He also took the time to reach out to me and explain everything to me. He is very caring and wants to make sure we always have a great experience and we do!

They fit us in at the last minute and conducted a detailed review of our vehicle. They communicated with us and provided a video of their assessment.

Forgot to schedule an oil change before driving 5hrs to Tahoe the following day. I only had an hour lunch break from work. I showed up asking for an oil change hoping they could fit me in. They took care of it well in under an hour. They even washed it for me which I was not thinking they'd be able to do in such little time. Definitely worth it.

I can’t recommend Subaru of Santa Cruz enough, specifically David R. in the service department. I originally went in just to get a flat tire fixed ($40 for a quick puncture repair), but David went above and beyond. While checking me in, he noticed a recall and several free updates my car needed. He even got me into a free rental while the work was being done. This is exactly what honest, fair customer service looks like. It’s why I keep coming back! Thanks, David!

If we could give 10 stars for this dealer we would. Don't care where you live it is worth your time to go to this dealer. My wife and I had been shopping for a Subaru , but had not decided between two models. We called 3 Subaru dealers, Santa Cruz Subaru was by far the most responsive, customer friendly and open to help us. ALL of the individuals we dealt with at the Dealership where customer focused, knowledgeable and frankly just plain nice people! It started with our sales person Carla Perez. She was patient, really knew her vehicles and helped us test drive several models. We settled on a Hybrid Forester. Her sales Manager Alex Silverman worked out a very fair deal and financing for the vehicle. It was actually a refreshing experience, no game playing. Moving on to the finance person, in this case, Sandra Baker who also was very professional, knew her vehicles and products, not a game player, and helped us get all the paperwork done. She also introduced us to a Service advisor we'd be working with, Cindy Fernandez, who also was great to meet and discuss service process. This dealership and the people working there are great to work with. We highly recommend Santa Cruz Subaru.
